SPICES FOR PASTA

The secret of delicious pasta is hidden in spices. You can make the most beautiful pasta in the world with just a pinch of black pepper. Using spices in ideal proportions, knowing which pasta goes well with which sauce is the mastery level of pasta cooking.  We share some tips below.

Black pepper: It is the spice that suits spaghetti the best.  Black pepper loves oil and when combined with olive oil and butter, it adds flavour to the spaghetti with its delicious smell and taste.  Black pepper, which goes well with cheese sauces, can be freshly ground or ground in a mill and used immediately, making it easier for the aroma and flavour of the spice to pass into the pasta.

Cumin: It is one of the risky spices to use in pasta. If you can not adjust the amount correctly, it can change the taste of pasta sauce. It is magnificent with the right amount of use on pasta.   For a gastronomic experience, roast the unground cumin seeds in the sauce pan for a while and let the aroma come out well. Then add the other ingredients of the sauce. Cumin goes well with minced meat sauces and sauces containing starchy vegetables such as potatoes. When combined with tomatoes and spinach, a pinch of cumin can be the secret of your speciality pasta.

Chilli Pepper: Usage may vary depending on how hot you like it.  If added at the serving stage of the pasta, it can be a nice presentation and flavour condiment.

Coriander: It gives a very different flavour to pasta both in fresh and seed form. If you add the seed coriander at the stage where the sauce is roasted with oil, both the aromatic taste of the sauce and the coriander grains exploding in the mouth while eating the pasta will surprise your palate. Of course, it is important not to overdo the coriander and to remember that some people do not like the taste of coriander.

Turmeric: Turmeric, which attracts attention with its yellow colour, not only turns the colour of the pasta yellow, but also can win your appreciation with its taste and healing. If you add a little turmeric to the boiling water of the pasta, you will get neon yellow pasta. Turmeric also goes well with creamy and chicken pasta sauces.

Ginger: You can use fresh ginger and powdered ginger in your pasta sauces. You can sauté 1 teaspoon of grated fresh ginger, 2 cloves of garlic in 2 tablespoons of olive oil and cook pasta with plenty of vegetables and consume it with health and taste. Blended Spices: Spices obtained by mixing spices such as Curry, Garam Masala, Cajun spice in an ideal ratio can be used as flavouring in pasta sauces. You can create your own pasta spices mix by mixing your favourite spices according to your taste.

Sumac: it can be used in yoghurt pasta varieties with its unique sour flavour. It can be preferred to give a sour flavour to soups made with vermicelli.
