Materials

250 g room temperature butter
1 cup crushed almonds
1 cup Selva Wheat Flour (to roast)
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp baking powder
3 cups Selva Flour

Powdered sugar

Preparation

Roast the crushed almonds in a pan and let them cool. In the same pan (after slightly cooling), roast 1 cup of flour over low heat, being careful not to burn it, then set aside to cool. In a bowl, beat butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Add roasted almonds, roasted flour, baking powder, and Selva flour. Knead into a dough. Roll out to 2 cm thickness and cut into crescent shapes using a cookie cutter. Arrange on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes. Once completely cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
